Attach the bracket
Check your room view first. Clean and dry suitable window glass, then press the adhesive bracket into place. Avoid delicate coatings.

Face the camera indoors
Clip SmileCam into the bracket with its lenses facing the nursery. Keep the camera and its cable away from the cot.

Connect and check
Connect USB power and pair with O-KAM Pro on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Check the room lighting, picture and connection before use.
Placement: Keep the camera and all cables at least 1 metre (3.3 feet) from the cot and out of your child’s reach. Never attach them to the cot or position them over the sleep space. Follow the supplied setup instructions and safe sleep guidance.

Is this a dedicated baby monitor?
SmileCam is a Wi-Fi camera for visual check-ins while you’re nearby. Cry alerts, breathing monitoring and sleep tracking are not advertised features. It does not replace adult supervision.
Can I use it in a completely dark nursery?
This page is for a suitably lit nursery. Clear colour viewing in complete darkness is not established for this use. Check the actual picture in your room before relying on the view.
Do I need a monthly plan?
Live view and memory-card recording and playback do not need a monthly plan. Every camera includes a free 16GB card. Cloud backup and extra app services are optional and paid.
Can I listen while my phone is locked?
Continuous background audio has not been confirmed. Choose SmileCam for opening the app and checking the picture; do not purchase it on the assumption that audio will keep playing with your phone locked. Indoor two-way audio is available through O-KAM Pro.
What if it does not suit my nursery setup?
You can open, power, pair and carefully mount SmileCam to test the view during the 30-day change-of-mind period. Normal use of the supplied adhesive pads for this test is allowed. What should I know about the app and sharing?
O-KAM Pro is the app used to view SmileCam. Review its account, sharing and storage settings before using a nursery view. Share access only with people you choose, keep your account details private, and review the app provider’s terms for optional cloud services.
